If you’re staying at The Nolitan, you’re surrounded by a few very cool spots. On the other side of the road you’ll find The Butcher’s Daughter and two streets ahead you’ll find Two Hands and Happy Bones. Great names for great spots. Happy Bones is a small coffee bar with a fantastic, architectural interior. Cool art on the walls, a good selection of magazines and books and of course the best baristas and coffee. It’s nice to know that the owners of Happy Bones have their roots in New Zealand and if you go to Two Hands across the street you’ll find out that the owners are from Australia. Oceania is making its way to Manhattan! I visited Happy Bones when it was snowing, but when the weather is better they’ve created a perfect place to drink you’re coffee in front of the cafe on a bench. Instagram worthy!

I ADORE Happy Bones – it’s always my first stop when in NYC, as they do an excellent filter coffee which is the perfect antidote to jet lag! Love their takeaway cups – very cute design 🙂
